Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Line

Long time no see! Sorry. Had stuff going on.
But anyway you are not here about that, you are here to find out about what I think of the Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Line and your wish is my command so here it is.

I first talked about this like in my last post which was Boots Haul #2 and at that point because it was a haul I did not know much about these products. I did not get the shampoo not because I did not like the look of it or anything it was only because I have so much shampoo and right now I really don't need anymore. I go through conditioner so much faster then shampoo and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So the products that I bought was Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Conditioner, Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Curl Milk and Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Smoothie. Spoiler! There is only one product I would buy again.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Conditioner: This conditioner is very thick and my hair feels like it drinks it up as soon as I put it on. I have very thick, dry, curly hair and I like to detangle it with my fingers and a wide tooth comb and lots of conditioner on my hair. For me, this conditioner just does not help detangle my hair that will and I don't think my hair feels amazingly soft after using it. My current favourite conditioner is  Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner which is thin and watery but leaves my hair feeling amazing. I also don't like the packaging, yes it looks nice but that's it. This conditioner is really hard to get out.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Curl Milk: In my Boots Haul #2 I said that I think this is a leave-in conditioner and I was right. But just like the normal conditioner I don't think its that good and it's a lot thicker than the normal conditioner so it's not just hard to get this out the bottle its a nightmare and for that reason I would not get it again. I really don't understand why they put a leave-in conditioner that is that thick in to a bottle, why not add a pump to it? Or put it in a tub instead which would make so much more sense.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Smoothie: Now to the only product that I would happily buy again. The way you would use this is after your hair is washed and you have put on any oils or leave-in conditioners that you like to use you then put this all over hair and blow dry your hair or leave it to dry. I also like to use it on refresh days which are days I'm not washing my hair but spraying it with water to style it for the day. On refresh days I don't feel like adding more of this is making my hair feel greasy and I don't think it makes my hair look heavy like my curls are being pulled down. On both refresh and wash days this leaves my hair feeling soft with lovely big, not frizzy curls.

All three products smell really good by the way.

So that's what I think of the Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Line and although I only really liked one thing from the three products I tried I would really like to try more from this brand.

Have you tried anything from this brand? What would you recommend I should try next? I would love to hear your thought in the comments below.

Boots Haul #2

Welcome to an expensive Boots haul. I have not been shopping in Boots for a few months now because I normally spend to much in Boots so I band myself for shopping there but the last few weeks I have had a real craving to do a Boots shop and when I received an email from Boots saying it was triple Boots point all day I gave in and went a little bit mad and spend way to much money but Im very happy because I have some lovely new things to try out.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Conditioner: This is a new line of hair care for us curly haired girls which is made in the USA. This coconut oil conditioner is for thick and curly hair and its meant to hydrate, smooth and defrizz the hair which is just what Im looking for. This conditioner has no mineral oil, silicones, gluten, SLS, sulfated surfactants, synthetic dye and ALES. It has pure coconut water and pure aloe juice in it and its vegan. It also smells really nice.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Curl Milk: I was not 100% sure what this was going to be when I bought it but I really wanted to find out and see what its like. Im now thinking its a leave in conditioner which smells like the normal conditioner. This leave on conditioner has no mineral oil, silicones, parabens, SLS, sulfated surfactants, synthetic dye and ALES. Just like the normal conditioner it has pure coconut water and pure aloe juice and its vegan.

Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Smoothie: This is a styling cream which is best for twist-outs, braids and wash-and-go styles. This coconut oil smoothie has no mineral oil, silicones, SLS, sulfated surfactants and synthetic dye and it has pure coconut water and pure aloe juice in it and its vegan friendly just like the coconut oil conditioner and coconut oil milk.

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Smoothie: I noticed this is being used a lot by curly haired YouTubers so I thought I would get it to give it ago, Im also interested to see if this is anything like the Maui Moisture Curl Quench Coconut Oil Smoothie. The Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie is for thick, curly hair and is meant to moisturise and help define your curls. It has no sulfates, parabens, phthalates, paraffin, mineral oils and synthetic colours.

Lee Stafford Here Come The Curls Conditioner: I love the name if this conditioner. I bought this one because its for curly hair and it was on offer and I just really like trying different conditioners. This conditioner is meant to give you frizz free hair thats soft to touch with natural looking and feeling curls.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Hair Treatment Frizz Remedy: As much as I love a good conditioner there is one thing I think is better a good deep conditioner. I have not tried this one before but I have seen it in shops and I have been wanting to try it for a long time now. Really looking forward to trying this.

Scunci Thick Hair Bands: So when I bought these hair bands I thought when it says "go XXL 60% bigger" I thought it meant the hair bands were going to be really thick hair bands for thick hair but nope Im wrong, these hair bands are not any thinker than normal hair bands but they really are bigger than normal hair bands. When I first released that I was a bit like what the hell!? But now I have thought about it I think they might be really good because I do normally like hair bands better when I have used them a couple of times and they have had a chance to loosen up.

Masque Bar Dark Circle Reducer Eye Masks: I was wanting to get some eye masks because some mornings when I get up my eyes still feel tired so I wanted to get the Masque Bar Eye Puffiness Minimizing Patches because I thought they might be nice and refreshing but they were sold out so I thought I would get these to try instead. They come in a pack of 5 and I have tried one already and so far I really like them, these Masque Bar Eye Masks say they will help to make the eyes appear brighter and I really agree with that because when I used these for the first time a really did think my eye area looking brighter. They have a dry soft side and a wet sticky side which is the side you place on the skin and because this side is sticky they stick to your skin so you can go and do anything you need to do with out worrying about them falling off. The only thing I have not liked about them so far is they feel like lots of little needles when you have them on, its not that they really hurt but it was a bit weird however these eye masks did not make my eyes hurt or run and if you have read my blog before then you would know that I have really sensitive eyes.

Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Water Gel Concentrate: I had to get it, I have dry eczema skin and I feel like I have seen this being advertised everywhere. This is meant to be a supercharged water-gel hydrator which will help dehydrated skin to become intensely hydrating. I have already tried this once and I did not think it made my skin look or feel anymore hydrated than normal, I think I will need to try it for a wee bit longer before I make my mind up about this.

Clinique Moisture Surge Melting Mask Balm: I was a little bit surprised when I saw how small this is but I think its a product where you dont need to use a lot.  This is meant to intensely nourish you skin. You can use this in a few different ways, you can use it anytime your skin needs a moisture boost or it the mornings on dry areas for added nourishment or at night all over face that you can either remove with a tissue after 10 minute or leave on overnight for intensive replenishment. I have used it a couple of time now and it just reminds me of the Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. Again I think I need to try this a few more times before I make my mind up about it.

Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray: This is a moisturising facial treatment in liquid spray form which is meant to be absorbed quickly be the skin without leaving a filmy residue. This comes in a plastic bottle which makes it good for travelling. I really like the idea of this and I keep looking for a moisturising spray that I will like so hopefully this is it.

         Plum Pop                          Hefty Highlight

Because I bought 3 Clinique products I received a free make-up bag with lots of love goodies which are all large sample sizes and they are -

Take The Day Off Micellar Cleansing Wipes: I love the Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm so Im looking forward to trying these and because there is 10 in this pack it will be a good size for putting in to my handbag.

Rinse Off Eye Make-up Solvent: I dont think I have tried this before, its not a make-up remover have has oil in it so it will be good to find out if it will take off mascara.

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief: Im really pleased this came in the set because I have been wanting to try. You can use it daily or in the through the day by tapping it on over make-up or you can use it as a 5 minute mask.

Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight: I have got this highlighter as a sample before and I still have some left but Im happy to now have a back up. I think pink toned highlighters look better on my skin which this highlighter is, it goes on to easily and its so easy to blend out leaving you with a really nice glow.

High Impact Mascara: This mascara is always in these gift with purchase deals Clinique does so I have tried it before. Its a nice a mascara but its been a while since I last used it so its will be nice to try it again.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer: This lip stick matches the make-up which for me its amazing, who does not want there lip stick and make-up to much? I have tried the Pop Lip Colour line before and I really like it, its cream and long wearing and this comes its a colour I like and yes I have already used it and love it.

All About Shadow Palette: I have not tried these yet but the colours look really nice and feel creamy. I have never tried Clinique eye shadows before but these look really nice, I really like the colour that are in this paette so looking forward to trying it.

So thats everything that I got from my Boots haul and now I have so meany new things to try out. I am a happy Becky now.

Have you tried anything that I got in this haul? Or is there anything you are wanting to get?
Please feel free to let me know in the comments below.

Thanks so much for checking out this post.

Tarte Tarteist Treats Colour Collection

Hey guys! So some of you might already know this but Tarte ship to the UK, I never knew that till recently but when I found out I really wanted to try something from them to see what they are like. Now normally you have to spend £38 or more to get free shipping to the UK but I saw an advert on Facebook where they were doing free shipping to the UK for the weekend I think it was. So I was having a look on their website and this Tarteist Treats Colour Collection really jumped out at me because I really like the fact that you can try some of their eye shadows, a mascara and a lip gloss for only £20 and the Pro To Go palette which is the palette that comes with this kit is £20 on its own.

This is a deluxe Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara and this mascara scares me. The bristles on the mascara are long and sharp and I keep poking myself in the eye with it so now Im to scared to use it again because it hurts. The packaging for this mascara feels really cheap and Im really unimpressed by it.

This deluxe Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in wcw which is a really lovely berry colour is so nice, it feels really comfortable to wear. The colour is a bit streaky but I find a lot of lip glosses that are berry colours can be streaky so thats not a big problem. I normal have a big problem with berry glosses bleeding on me and although this one did as well it was only a wee bit and it was not that bad. I would say this lip paint is just a really comfortable lip gloss with really good colour pay off and it lasts a good time too when wearing it. I would be really happy to try more of the colours Tarte has in this line of lip paints. I like the packaging for this lip gloss, its a cute mini lip gloss and I dont think it feels cheap as the mascara does.

Top Line: Drive, Stylin, Boss.
Bottom Line: Hype, Crisp, Dominate.
And now the star on the the show. This is the Tarteist Pro To Go palette which comes with 6 beautiful shades, 3 matte and 3 shimmer. Both the matte and shimmer shapes are so buttery and creamy, they have really good colour pay off and they are so easy to work with. This palette is so nice and Im so happy I now have it. I think this palette would make a really good travel palette because you have some light shades you can wear in the day and then you have dark shades you can wear at night. I love Dominate which is a shimmery berry shade and this shade makes a really nice pop of colour. Im getting a bit bored of nude eye shadow palettes because there is only so many nude eye shadows a girl needs but this eye shadow palette is a must have.

Have you bought this Tarteist Treats Colour Collection?
What do you think of it? Or have you been thinking about getting it?
