Soap & Glory Haul

I have only tried a couple of make-up things from Soap & Glory which are the Archery Brow Pencil and the Archery Brow Sculpting Crayon & Gel which are both really nice, if I had to pick one I would probably go for the Archery Brow Sculpting Crayon & Gel because its really handy if your going travelling since its a 2 in 1 and the crayon itself is really easy to use and builds really nicely also the gel is really good, it keeps your brows in place all day. The only down side to the gel is that if you use to much it can make your brows feel a bit hard and crunchy but as long as you only use a little its really nice.

I have been wanting to try more from Soap & Glory for some time now so I thought I would only get a few things to see what I thought, I did not want to get lots of products and then find out they are rubbish but since I really like the 2 brow products that I have tried I was thinking I was going to really like what I bought.

Glow All Out: This is a soft and creamy powder highlighter, one minute I think its pink then I think I can see peach in it so Im going to say its peachy pink. Its got a really nice glow to it which I think will be really nice on pale people like myself.

Love At First Blush: I really like highlighter and blusher all in ones because Im always running late you would think since Im in my late 20s I would have worked out how to be on time but no its just something Im not very good at, Im so bad at being on time its now a running joke with my friends and sometimes I wonder how I even make it to work on time well just on time. This is a really nice pink shimmering blush, I dont think this blusher will stop me from being late all the time but I might just be a little less late. Probably not this blush is just a blusher and its not magic but at lest I wont have to spend time putting blusher and highlight on since this does both.

Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip: Ok I have done it again I have bought 2 lip products that are almost the same colour but I did need more nudes cause I dont have alot of nude shades. This is a matte lip stick but the name gave that away I thinking, I have not tried it yet but Im looking forward to trying it. The colour is really nice its a nude mixed with berry and the colour pay out looking like it will be really good.

Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Shine Lacquer: If Im buying somethings to try from Soap & Glory I thought I have to get Sexy Mother Pucker since I feel like I hear so meany people talk about it. I have tried it a couple of time since I got it, Im not ready to do a review for it but I can say I really like the brush which a fat of 2 sides and thin on the other 2 sides. Its more of a brown nude instead of a berry nude and its just feels like normal lip gloss with a good colour pay out. From the few times I have tried this I have not be wowed by it but there is still time.

              Choccoberry                                        Charm Offensive
So thats everything I got from my Soap & Glory haul, its just a wee haul to try out a few more products. Im pleased I bought the Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip and Sexy Mother Pucker Shine Lip Lacquer to try but its the highlighter and blusher that I might be in love with.

Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for checking out this post.

Glossybox UK March 2017

With this months box we are back to the normal pink style of box and Glossybox was putting a Sleek palette in to each box which Glossybox let us pick the colour we wanted and Im so happy with what I picked but more on that later. In this months box I received 3 full sized products and 2 sample sized products.

Now let me tell you what I got.

Oolution - Eye Love (£30): This eye cream is 100% natural, its meant to help fight dark circles and reduce puffiness. Glossybox says to "apply a rice-grain sized amount around your eyes am and pm, avoiding the lower and upper eyelids." I have really dry skin and I need to put cream on my lower and upper eyelids, also its an eye cream so why cant you put it on your eyelids? If anyone knows please comment below cause I find that a bit weird.

Sleek - Eye & Cheek Palette (£10): So the colour of palette that I picked was called See You At Midnight and I love it, I cant comment about what the eye shadows are like yet cause I have not tried them but I really like the colours. This palette looks really nice and I cant wait to try it. Glossybox says this palette has 4 eye shadows and 2 cheek colours but I think they all would make nice eye shadow colours.

This Works - In Transit Camera Close-Up (£30): Im so happy to get this because I really like the Deep Sleep Pillow Spray that This works makes. This is a mask, moisturiser and primer all in one which is meant to help balances, plump and brighten the skin. My dry skin has been looking a lot more dull than normal so this might just be what its looking for.

Schwarzkopf - BlondMe Keratin Restore Bonding Shampoo (£13): This shampoo which has keratin in it is meant to help make the hair stronger, smoother and less damaged. I have never tried a keratin shampoo before so this is a very good size to try to see if I like it. Also my Glossybox smells of this shampoo but its not been leaking so Im guessing my hair will be smell very lovely after using this.

Stripped Skin Care - Rosehip & Mandarin Moisturising Oil (£16): On the info sheet that you get with your box this does not say its a full size so if this is just a sample size I think this is a really good size. I love the packaging for this product, its just a bit different. This all natural and light weight oil is meant to leave your skin nourished and moisturised.

I think this is a really good box, Im so happy about the Sleek Eye & Cheek Palette and the This Works primer and Im interested to see what the Schwarzkopf Keratin Shampoo will do to my curly dry hair. I think the 2 sample sizes which are the This Works primer and the Stripped Moisturising Oil are really good size samples.

What do you think of this box? Did you get a box this month from Glossybox? Let me know in the comment below and tell me what you got.

Thanks for checking out this post.

Birchbox UK March 2017

Im going to start this post on a downer and Im sorry but I thought you guys and girls should get an update about the broken eye shadows that I got in last months Birchbox, if you read my post for last month then you would know that I really liked the box and everything in the box would be something I would be really happy to try. Before I made that post I had sent an e-mail to Birchbox letting them know that my eye shadows arrived broken and this is what they e-mailed me back with "I'm so sorry to hear about your damaged sample. Today I have ordered a replacement for you this will process over the next 48 hours and then be shipped to be received in 3-5 working days from there. We appreciate your patience as your replacement item makes its way to you. Our apologies again for the trouble and any disappointment caused here." So thats fine I was happy with that, they are sending a new one out or are they? The reply I got from Birchbox was on Tuesday 14th February and then I got my March Birchbox on Tuesday 14th March but still no replacement eye shadows so this was a month I waited patiently when I should of got them in about a week. I sent Birchbox another e-mail letting them know I had not yet received the new eye shadows and that Im not happy and that I think the customer service was really bad. This is what I got back from Birchbox "I'm so sorry to hear that you still have not received your damaged sample replacement. Today I have ordered a replacement for you this will process over the next 48 hours and then be shipped to be received in 3-5 working days from there. We appreciate your patience as your replacement item makes its way to you. Our apologies again for the trouble and any disappointment caused here." Sounds very much like the first reply dont you think? Birchbox in meant to be the UKs biggest monthly beauty box so you would think they would have good customer service but I would not say this was good customer service. I will keep you all update about what happens with this.

Now after that little update lets talk about this months Birchbox. So Birchbox this month have gone back to the start to celebrate the original Bircbox with the original design and the original size, this box also has the hand Birchbox bag again.

In the box I have 6 products but I only have 5 on the info sheet so not sure why I have 6 but thanks. Out of the 6 products 1 was full size and 2 are Birchbox exclusives.

Benefit - They're Real! Double the Lip in Pink Thrills (£16.50): This is meant to be a lipstick and lip liner all in one, Im not that wowed by it and I dont know if I will try it. When Benefit started selling these I did think about getting one to try but I did not because I dont need a lipstick and lip liner all in one. Im happy just using lipstick that 1 colour not 2.

Balance Me - Instant Lift Primer (£22): This looks like it would be a really nice primer to try as it has hyaluronic acid in it and since I have dry skin I love hyaluronic acid but its empty, Im not joking, I have been sent an empty product. Like really what the hell is going on with Birchbox right now bad customer service, broken products and now empty products.

Laqa & Co - Eyelighter on Co-Pilot (£??.??): Birchbox calls this an innovative product but to me it looks like a mini highlighter, it also says on its website it costs £9.50 but on the info sheet its says £10.50 so Im guessing £9.50 then? This is the full size product and its 1 of the Birchbox exlusives. Its got a cream texture but I think it will be hard to blend it, its a very light highlighter which I think it would be good for a natural looks if you can get it to blend.

Amika - The Shield Style Extending Spray (£20): This is meant to help protect your hair from UV rays, heat, pollution and frizz. Your meant to spray on to damp or dry hair before heat styling. I have curly hair so I dont really heat style my hair that much, I will give this a try but I cant see myself buying a full size.

Marcelle - Gentle Make-up Remover (£14.50): This is the other product that is a Birchbox Exclusive and this is the product Im most happy about getting. This is also a sample size and I think its a really nice size for being a sample. Best product in this whole box but I still need to try it.

Korres - Santorini Vine Shower Gel (£8): This is the product thats not on the info sheet so I dont know if I was meant to get it because of the broken eye shadows last month or if it was a mistake, I have no idea. I love the smell of this, its so nice and Im looking forward to trying it. I think I might have got this before in another box but I cant remember trying it but I can be a wee bit scared to try new shower gels when I have a eczema flare up so that might be why I did not try it before.

I think the best products that are in my box this month are the make-up remover and the shower gel. I really like the fact they went back to the start with this box but come on Birchbox getting an empty product thats just not good enough.

What did you think of this months box? Did you love it or hate it? Please let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for checking out this post.

Boots Haul

When I was feeling very ill the other week I needed some retail therapy to try and make me feel better because shopping is going to help get rid of the flu or I would like to think that anyway but I was to ill to go shopping to I bought a few things on the Boots website.

I bought a few things that I was needing like hair spray and hairbands but I did get a few treats.

Boots Essentials Hair Spray (2 for £3): I bought the boots hair spray to try it out because I have tried the Boots Essential Styling Mousse for curly hair and its really good, if you have curly hair you should give it a go. The mousse never leaves my hair feeling crunchy, keeps the curl looking lovely all day and its so cheap for how good it is. This hair spray costs £1.99 but when I bought it the hair spray was on offer 2 for £3 so yes I bought 2 of them.

Boots Thick Red and Black Hairbands (£1): I was running out of hairbands so I think I would get some more since I was doing some shopping, I normal always get black hairbands but my hair is coloured red right now so when I saw the red ones too I had to get them. I dont think I have tried the boots hairbands out before but Im sure they just as good as any other.

Boots Black Kirby Grips (£2.50): Got some kirby grips cause I have lost all my other ones, Im always losing kirby grips and Im sure I cant be the only one.

Scunci Clear Polybands (£2.99): Thought I would get these for a bit of fun and to try out new hair styles.

Boots Ingredients Face Mask - Super Hyaluronic (2 for £3): I have really dry skin so when I saw this new face mask from Boots I thought I would give it a go plus it was on offer when I got it which was nice. I will do a full review on this face mask but I did try it the other night and really liked it, my skin felt so soft and hydrated. I think this face mask is brill and a bargain.

Oh K Face Mask - Avocado (£3): I may have got this face mask just because it looks cute but also cause avocados are meant to be good for the skin. I have not tried this one yet so I cant say if its good or not.

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner (£10.99): I bought this conditioner because its for curly and thick hair and since my hair is both I thought its worth a try. I would not normal spend £10.99 on a conditioner but if it makes my curls look good then its worth it.

Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave-In Conditioner (£12.99): This is a cream leave-in conditioner instead of a spray and it looks like a really good size. It smell really good and Im looking forward to trying it.

Clinique Pop Lacquer Lip Colour and Primer and Clinique Pop Matte Lip Colour and Primer (£16.00): When I ordered these I did not realise these we the same colour. I wanted to try the lacquer and matte lip colours from the colour pop line from Clinique because I have tried the cream one which I really like.

Clinique High Impact Mascara & Chubby Highlighter Deluxe Samples (Free): I got these free because I bought 2 Clinique products. I think I have tried this mascara before but it was some time ago so it will be nice to try it again. The highlighter it a really nice colour and Im really looking forward to trying it.

Have you tried the Shea Moisture Conditioners and the Clinique Colour Pop lippys? Lets me know what you thought of them in the comments below.

Thanks for checking out this post.

Dead Sea Natural Mineral Shower Cream

I first did a review on the Dead Sea Body Scrub with Frankincense Oil and fell totally in love with it and I still use that body scrub because it just leaves my dry skin feeling so amazing. Thats why I wanted to try the shower cream to see if I will love it just as much.

Normally when I have a shower my very dry skin just feels even more dry when I get out of the shower and its not nice at all but when I use this shower cream I feel like my skin is being cleaned well but its not being striped of its natural oils so its not becoming more dry. With the body scrub I feel like it adds moisture to my skin but I dont feel like the shower cream adds moisture but unlike most shower creams and shower gels I dont feel like its taking any moisture away.

This shower cream foams up a wee bit but not as much as other shower creams do which is good because the chemicals that are added to shower creams and shower gels to make them foam up are not good for the skin and they are really bad for dry skin because the chemicals they add to make it foam up are also drying out your skin.

The colour of the shower cream is almost clear its just got a wee hint of yellow in it which again is really good because the more chemicals they use to colour shower creams and shower gels the more its going to hurt your skin. It has a light scent to it, its not to strong and I really like it.

This shower cream feels more like a gel than a cream and the packaging could be better but this shower cream/gel is one of the nicest I have tried for my dry eczema prone skin and even if you have normal skin I think you would love this shower cream too.

Have you tried this shower cream? What did you think of it? Leave a comment below to let me know.

Thanks for checking out this review today.
