Birchbox UK January 2015

Well its that time of the mouth again, Birchbox time. I always really look forward to getting my box each mouth, its like a little gift you get each mouth in the post. This mouth Birchbox teamed up with Women's Health to make the January box, its all about getting more fit and healthy and includes tips and ideas telling you how to improve you fitness.

The first item that I got was this Stila Lip Glaze in the colour Gleam that would retail at £15. Its a sheer gloss with bits of glitter in it, I have tried it and its a bit sticky but I do like it, I just would have liked it more if it had been in red but its ok because I can just put some red lip liner on first.

The next item I got was this Philip Kingsley Body Building Conditioner that retails at £19 for a full size the only thing is it says on it that its for fine, limp or flyaway hair types but my hair is not fine or limp and dues not flyaway but it is dry and long so it will be nice to try.

I was looking forward to trying this when I saw it in my box, its a serum by Caudalie called Vinoperfect Radiance Serum which retails at £45 full size but its not even half full, its so light it feels empty so Im not very happy with this item.

When I first saw this I did think it looked a bit small but a little goes a long way so I think this is a good sample size, its HealGel Intensive that retails at £37.50 for the full size. This is a lightweight moisturiser for your face thats meant to protect and restore the skin.

This Cooling Finish Lotion by Activbod retails at £12 for the full size, its a cooling menthol lotion thats meant to moisturise the skin and make you feel refreshed after you have been to the gym.

I dont ever drink green tea but I might give this a go since I have it, its Embrace Matcha Green Tea and a full box costs £24.99 which I do think is a lot for tea but this is meant to be a super green tea but then again at the end of the day its still just a green tea.

This is my lifestyle extra which is a Birchbox Pilates Band that is exclusive to Birchbox and costs £7.99.

So that was everything I got in my box and Im happy with is apart from the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum because I was looking forward to trying it but instead I got sent an empty product.

Let me know what you got in your box this mouth and if you liked it x

Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer

Hey everyone, how are you all today? I was planning on starting this review off by saying its nice to see the sun today since we had lots of rain yesterday but since I started writing this we have just had rain and now we are on to snow so Im hoping the sun will come back soon but anyway the review Im going to be doing today is for Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer. This primer is meant to make your skin look smoother and minimise the appearance of pores so as soon as I heard this I thought of POREfessional by Benefit, is this going to be as good as POREfessional? Well I don't have a big problem with pores but I do have really dry skin and as much as I love POREfessional I do think it sometimes makes my skin feel more dry but the 5 Second Perfect Blur feels more creamy and mousse like but not sticky or greasy so I don't feel like its drying out my skin and even though I don't have a big problem with pores I do think it also makes my skin look more smooth and I like to wear it on its own sometimes because it dues make my skin look good. I also think this should be fine for normal or oily skin.

Have you tried this? Leave a comment about what you think of it.

Take care x

Sanctuary Spa Long Lasting Moisture

Hey everyone sorry for not posting anything lately just been really busy with work and then Christmas but I hope you all had a really good Christmas and New Year. So this review its all about 3 Sanctuary Spa items and they are 4 Day Moisture Body Oil Spray, 5 Day Moisture Creamy Body Oil and 7 Day Moisture Miracle Oil Balm. I first heard about Sanctuary Spa from a blog I was reading and I then found them on the Boots website. I really liked the sound of them because of the name 4, 5 and 7 day moisture sounds rather good when you have dry eczema skin like mine. They say they are enriched with gold of pleasure oil, what ever that is, if any of you guys know please feel free to tell me cause Im just thinking its a selling gimmick but they are paraben free and against animal testing so that is good.

4 Day Moisture Body Oil Spray

This spray is a dual phase spray and it says it has vitamin E, olive oil and that gold of pleasure oil. I have had a wee noise at whats in it and there is alot of oil but when you spray is you can tell and also you would hope that there would be lots of oil in it since its called a body oil spray. I really like this spray even with my extra dry skin, I dont think I could use it everyday but on a day where im in a rush and dont have time to put cream on I think this is fab and works really well. I think if you have normal skin it would be fine for you too, it dues not feel to greasy but you can tell there is oil it it and its not got that sticky feeling that you sometimes get from some creams.

5 Day Moisture Creamy Body Oil

When you put this cream on you can feel the oil in it but just like the spray is not sticky and it dues not leave you feeling greasy, its more moisturising than the spray so I dont know if this would be too moisturising for normal skin but for dry skin it really works. I think this cream is more of a treat cream than an everyday cream but I really like it. The smell is strong and some people might not like it, Im not a big fan of the smell but I dont hate it.

7 Day Moisture Miracle Oil Balm

This small tube says its a handbag must have ....... ok and I say its really not. I cant see how they can call this a 7 Day Moisture Miracle Oil Balm it just made my skin more dry, I really was thinking before I tried it that this was going to be so good sins the spray and the cream is so good but this balm is really not good and I don't recommend it. I would love to say more about it but I really dont think there is anything else to say about it but save your money and buy something else.

So overall I have enjoyed the products I have tried from this brand so fare apart from the 7 Day Moisture Miracle Oil Balm but I would recommend the 4 Day Moisture Body Oil Spray and the 5 Day Moisture Creamy Body Oil
