Vitamasques Manuka Honey Face Mask

I received this face mask in my January 2017 Glossybox which I was really happy about because I liked the look of this face mask and its meant to be hydrating and moisturising. I have really dry skin and also I have the flu right now which is making my skin look even more dry than normal and very dull so last night I wanted to give my skin a pick me up and thought I would try this mask out.

When I opened the packaging I noticed it had a lovely light scent to it but dont trust me on that one cause like I said I have the flu and my nose was a bit blocked at the time.
The face mask is a soft sheet mask that has got plenty of  the serum on it and the serum is a little bit runny.

On the pack it says to put it on to cleansed skin and leave for 20 mins, I normally use sheet masks at night when Im going to bed so I cleansed my skin like I would normal do before bed and then left this mask on for about 20 mins. After you remove this sheet mask you are meant to pat the rest of the serum in to your skin.

My skin felt so soft and plump after using this, it was feeling so much better and the wee dry patches I had on my face felt like they were almost gone. This morning when I woke up I did notice a couple of the dry patches I had on my face were back to being flaky and dry again and my face did not feel as plump as it did last night, it also still looking sad and dull.

I would happily use this face mask again I just think I would save it for the summer or when I dont feel so ill so my skin wont be so dry. This mask may have made my skin look the same sad dullness this morning as its been the last few day but it did make it feel better last night so I think if your maybe going out at night and need a fast pick me up for you skin then this would work.

I also think this might be better for normal to dry skin but if you have very dry skin this might not be for you.

Sorry if this review is a bit odd like I said I have the flu and my brain is a bit fuzzy right now but I really wanted to do this post when it was still fresh in my mind.

Have you tried this face mask? Let me know what you think of it in the comment below.

Thanks for checking out this review.

Glossybox UK February 2017

Glossybox this month is about Valentines and sharing the love with your best friends, its a nice idea they are doing with this months box instead of the normal Valentines with your love. The box has a new look for this month with black and white strips and Love in pink on the top of the box.

This box comes with 5 beauty products and 4 of them are full size.

Jeanne Arthes - L'Eau De Rose (£20): This is a rose perfume, its not normal a scent I would buy so Im not sure if Im going to use this. It is a nice scent but just not what I normal go for. I am happy I was sent this and I might change my mine and wear it some day.

La Theorie Des Volcans - Noir Eternae Youth Potion Face Scrub (£26): This face mask is meant to cleanses and purify the skin leaving it plump and smoother. Im always happy to try a new face mask and Im also always happy to try a new face scrub so this will but nice to try. The only thing Im a bit worried about is that it sounds like its more for normal skin not dry skin but I will still give it a try and hope that it does not dry my skin out.

Garnier - Ultimate Blends Honey Treasures Strength Restorer Balm (£4.49): If you have been reading my blog for sometime now you may know I really like Garnier and you would also know I have long dry curly hair so Im really happy about getting this. Its a hair mask thats meant to leave your hair nourished and glossy. Once you have washed your hair your are meant to apply this to the mid-lengths and ends and leave it on for 1 to 5 minutes depending on your hair then rinse it off. I think I will be leaving it on for 5 minutes.

Ciate London - Paint  Pot in Iced Frappe (£9): Whenever I get sent a nail polish from Glossybox or Birchbox its normal a colour I hate but I really like this colour, Im so happy to be sent a colour I like and its full size so yay.

MeMeMe - Beat the Blues in Oyster Gold (£7.25): This skin illuminator is really nice and Glossybox is calling it a hero product. Its a gold highlighter with very small bit of glitter. Again Im happy to get this cause who does not like a good highlighter?

This month Glossybox is really good and Im happy with everything I got which is a bit odd, there is normal at lest one thing I dont like. Well done Glossybox.

Birchbox UK February 2017

This months Birchbox is a collaboration with a British stationery brand called Papier and we could pick from two designs this month which are made by Papier. We could pick from a white box with green leaves or a purple box with red and pink leaves and I picked the purple coloured box.

In my Birchbox this month there is 5 products and 2 of them are full size..... sort of but I will tell you about that when we get to it.

Spectrum - Marbleous C06 Tulip Eye Contour Brush (£5.99): I have received Spectrum make-up brushes before from other beauty boxes and I have really enjoyed using them so Im happy to get another on. This is one of the full size products that I received this month and this brush is so soft. Looking forward to trying this brush out.

POP Beauty - Bright Up Your Life Eye Shadow Trio - Champagne Mocha (£15.50): Well there is not much to say about this because mine came broken and unusable. I have sent Birchbox an e-mail and they said they will be sending me a new one.

Beaver Professional - Daily Moisture Conditioning Spray (£21): This is a leave in conditioner for you hair, after you have washed your hair you spray this in and then style your hair like normal. I love leave in conditioner and I use them all the time because I have long dry curly hair and I love trying new leave in conditioners so this should be really nice to try. It a good size for a sample and I think the packaging is really nice too.

SHOW Beauty - Premiere Dry Shampoo (£30): This dry shampoo has natural tapioca powders and rice starch thats meant to absorb oils and remove impurities while the botanical extracts are meant to add shine and condition to the hair. This dry shampoo looks really nice and Im looking forward to trying it but even if it does what its meant to I cant see myself spending £30 on a dry shampoo.

Keeome - Hydration Mask Therapy: Birchbox says this is a Birchbox exclusive and on the Birchbox website you can buy it in a pack of 6 for £29 but you can also buy it from the Keeome website as a pack of 6 but it is a bit more pricey at £65. This is the other product that is meant to be full size and ye a face mask is full size item cause you cant really give some half a sheet face mask to try but you cant buy just one because its comes in a pack of 6 so its not really a full size item. Im not expecting to get 6 face masks in my box that cost £29 or £65 but getting 1 face mask that normally comes in a pack of 6 is not full size. This is a Korean face mask so Im looking forward to trying it.

This months Birchbox is really good even though the eye shadows are broken but Birchbox said they will send me out another one and the face mask lies :-P

Let me know what you thought of this months Birchbox in the comments below.

Lancome Haul

For Christmas I was given a £50 Debenhams gift voucher, the voucher came with a personal shopper, cup of tea or coffee with a tasty treat in their restaurant and you can also get your makeup done at one of the beauty counters of your choice. As you can guess by the name of this post I picked Lancome for my beauty makeover.

Teint Miracle - 005 Beige Ivoire (£30): I find it hard to fine a foundation that I really like, Im pale with dry eczema skin so normally foundation is to dark for me or its to drying or its makes my eczema bad. The lady at the Lancome counter asked me about my skin and I told her this so she used this foundation on me, it has a light coverage and felt like I had no foundation on. It felt really nice and did not look matte or feel drying so I had to get it.

La Base Pro Hydra Glow (£28.50): This is the primer that the lady used which is an illuminating primer with 24 hour hydration, Im not planning on using this for 24 hours but its good to know its non-drying. A lot of primers are for making your skin matte and smooth but thats not what I look for in a primer. I really like the look when the lady used it on me at the counter so Im thinking Im really going to enjoy using this primer.

Thats everything that I bought but the lovely lady as the Lancome counter said because I am buying 2 products then I also get some free goodies and Im not going to say no to free goodies.

Energie De Vie Sleeping Mask: I have tried this sleeping mask before and I love it so Im so happy to get some more. It leaves your skin feeling so soft, plump and moisturised the next morning. Even though I have dry skin I feel like you dont need to use a lot of this to make your skin feel amazing the next day.

Energie De Vie Smoothing & Glow-Boosting Liquid Care: This is a liquid moisturiser, I have tried this before to but it was only a wee sample I think I did like it but it will be good to try it again to see how much I did like it.

Bi-Facil: Lancome says this makeup remover is non oily and is suitable for sensitive eyes. It looks like a nice cleanser so Im looking forward to trying it. Im happy this is for sensitive eyes since a lot of cleanser hurt my eyes.

Le Crayon Khil - 01 Noir: Although I have not used this long lasting eye pencil yet I think it will have a nice colour pay off. Its always handy to have a good black eye pencil.

L'Absolu Rouge Cream: Im not sure the colour of this lipstick but I had a look on the internet and I think its 368 Rose, its a bright pink. Not sure if Im going to wear this lipstick because its not a colour I would normally go for but Im going to play about with it and hopefully I will find a way to wear it that looks good on me.

Hypnose Mascara - Black: Love the brush for this mascara, I think the mascara is going to be amazing and I cant wait to try it,the only reason I have not tried it yet is because I was wanting to write this post first.

Advanced Genifique Serum: This is a youth activating concentrate serum. I have never found a serum thats made me go wow I need to get this again, I have found ones that I like but none I have fell in love with. It will be nice to try this one to see if I will love it.

Thats everything that I got for Lancome and Im looking forward to trying all my nice new goodies.

Have you tried any of these products yet? Let me know in the comments below.
