Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Deep Moisture Body Lotion

For some reason I have never tried any skin care products from Neutrogena before but when I was on the Boots website I came across this Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Deep Moisture Body Lotion. The one I bought was for dry and sensitive skin and this cream is also fragrance free, on the boots website you can also get this cream which is just for dry skin so Im thinking that one will have a fragrance.

The size I bought was 250ml but you can also get it in a 400ml size, the 250ml size comes with a pump so Im guess the 400ml will also come with a pump. I really like the fact that they have put a pump with this cream because its a thick cream so the pump helps to get the cream out easily.

One of the claims for this cream is that it will absorb immediately and I normal take this claim very seriously because when you have dry skin and you use thick moisturising cream its a pain having to wait for the cream to soak in to the skin when your wanting to get ready and if you dont wait for the cream to soak in then it will end up all over your clothes. Nightmare! Neutrogena is not lying with this claim however this thick cream soaks in to the skin rather fast and leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturised with out feeling greasy.

The other claim about this cream being suitable for sensitive skin is another claim I take seriously because of my eczema and I have found some skin creams in the past that I have tried that say they are for sensitive skin and they make my eczema worse. This cream got it right again, I did not find this cream making my skin worse. I also noticed this cream left my skin feeling hydrated all through the day.

This cream does what is says and it does it well too, I really like this cream and would happily buy it again. I think if you have dry and sensitive skin and are looking for a cream that works then this might just be it.

Have you tried this cream? Let me know what you thought of it in the comments below.

Dead Sea Natural Mineral Shower Cream

I first did a review on the Dead Sea Body Scrub with Frankincense Oil and fell totally in love with it and I still use that body scrub because it just leaves my dry skin feeling so amazing. Thats why I wanted to try the shower cream to see if I will love it just as much.

Normally when I have a shower my very dry skin just feels even more dry when I get out of the shower and its not nice at all but when I use this shower cream I feel like my skin is being cleaned well but its not being striped of its natural oils so its not becoming more dry. With the body scrub I feel like it adds moisture to my skin but I dont feel like the shower cream adds moisture but unlike most shower creams and shower gels I dont feel like its taking any moisture away.

This shower cream foams up a wee bit but not as much as other shower creams do which is good because the chemicals that are added to shower creams and shower gels to make them foam up are not good for the skin and they are really bad for dry skin because the chemicals they add to make it foam up are also drying out your skin.

The colour of the shower cream is almost clear its just got a wee hint of yellow in it which again is really good because the more chemicals they use to colour shower creams and shower gels the more its going to hurt your skin. It has a light scent to it, its not to strong and I really like it.

This shower cream feels more like a gel than a cream and the packaging could be better but this shower cream/gel is one of the nicest I have tried for my dry eczema prone skin and even if you have normal skin I think you would love this shower cream too.

Have you tried this shower cream? What did you think of it? Leave a comment below to let me know.

Thanks for checking out this review today.

Garnier Miracle Wake Up Cream

Hey guys! Today Im going to be doing a review on the Garnier Miracle Wake Up Cream. Now if you have been reading my blog for sometime now then you would know I really like Garnier apart for the Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Day Cream which I really did think I would like but I really did not.

I really liked the look of this cream which says its for dull and tired looking skin as well as fatigue, ageing, fine lines and wrinkles but I bought it for the dull and tired looking skin claims because I have very dry skin and that can mean my skin can look very dull some days.

When I first started to use this cream my skin did look more smooth, it almost reminds my of a primer like Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer but I think the primer might be nicer. When I use a face cream I expect it to feel like it working its way thought all my skins layers making it feel soft and well moisturised but this cream feels like it just sits on top of the skin doing nothing but looking like a primer.

So you have put this cream on and you have smoother looking skin but you dont feel like you have put any moisture on to the skin, do you put more cream on? No! This well make everything worse. Im guessing Im not the only one but I have face creams that some days I need to use more of than other days because my skin might be feeling a wee bit more dry so if I put a small amount of face cream on I feel like I can put a wee bit more on. Not with this cream however because this cream starts to go all funny on the skin and leaves you with lots of small white chunks all over you skin and its not a very good look.

This cream has got a nice smell, its a wee bit old fashioned but it is nice. If you do think about trying this cream I think it might be ok for oily skin but I cant see dry skin girls or guys liking it.

Have you tried this cream? Leave a comment below to let me know what you thought of it.

Thanks for checking out this review.

Glossybox UK January 2017

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a really good Christmas and New Year. Everything is back to normal now and the shops have got the Easter eggs in already. Im not joking if you have not seen them yet the shops near where I stay have Easter eggs in and I cant be the only person thinking its a bit early, can I?

Anyway lets get on with why we are really here to see this months Glossybox. In this months box there is 4 full size products and 1 sample size product and the idea with this box is that the products are meant to be good enough to eat. So the real question is would I really ever want to eat makeup or skincare?

Nip + Fab - Kale Fix Moisturiser (£19.95): This is the product that came in the sample size and I think its a good size for being a sample, I should get a few uses out of this so I will be able to tell if I like it or not. This moisturiser smells amazing, not sure if I would eat it but it does smell really good.

The Balm - Meet Matt(e) Trimony Single Eyeshadow (£34 for the Palette): The colour I was sent in my Glossybox from this eyeshadow palette is called Matt Kumar and its a really nice colour, its blown with berry/red tones. Im looking forward to trying this shadow out.

Unani - Illuminate Milk Cleanser (£14): I like to use a cleanser that is non-foaming this is because I have dry skin and foaming cleansers can dry out the skin so Im looking forward to trying this cleansing milk. Its got a light sweet scent so I think this cleanser will be good for dry skin.

Vitamasques - Manuka Honey Face Mask (£3.99): A hydrating and moisturising Korean face mask which is made with extracts of Manuka Honey. I think the packaging for this face mask is really nice and modern. Im really looking forward to using this since I love a good face mask.

Hairon - Zero Crease Hair Tie (£3.99): I was sent this in my Glossybox for May 2016 too and I dont really like using the first pack Glossybox sent me and I still have all 3 left so I not to happy about getting this. And no Glossybox plastic hairbands are not good enough to eat.

I do really like this months box, I got a few lovely new things to try but I will probably be give the hairbands to someone. I also dont think I will being eating any of it even though the Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser and the Unani Illuminate Milk Cleanser smell really good.

Did you get this months Glossybox? What did you think of it? Leave a comment below to let me know.

Thanks for checking out this post.

Birchbox UK January 2017

So its 2017 at last and lets hope its better than 2016 but with a new month there is a new Birchbox and this month Birchbox has gone back to the drawer idea they have done a few time last year and like I have said before I do really like this idea.

In this months box I was sent 5 products, 3 of the products are sample size and 2 of them are full size and I also received a Birchbox Exclusive item.

Lord & Berry - Conceal It Crayon in Beige (£12): This is the Birchbox Exclusive item that I received and its also one of the full size items I was sent. Its not the perfect colour match for my skin but it seems nice and creamy and I think it will be easy to blend so Im going to play around with it to see what its like. Birchbox says it can also be used as a highlighter.

Nuxe - Huile Prodigieuse (From £17): Even though I have dry skin I have never been I big fan of using oils on my face, I dont like the way they feel and I would rather just have a really good moisturising cream so at first when I saw I received an oil I was not feeling all to excited about trying it. However this is not just a normal oil you use on your face because Birchbox says this is a multi-purpose oil that you can use on your skin, body and hair and since I have dry curly hair I will be looking forward to trying this.

Merci Handy - Hand Cream in Cherie Cherry (£4.90): Im sure this will be a really nice hand cream and I will give it a try but if your like myself and have sensitive skin then I dont think this will be the hand cream we will be using everyday because it has a very strong perfume to it and I think this will not be good for sensitive skin. Also the perfume that is in it smells like something an old lady would wear which is fine if your an old lady. However a good point about this hand cream is that it has really nice packaging.

Monu Professional Skincare - Monu Spa Rosewood Reviving Mist (£19.95): This is a rejuvenating mist for the face, its meant to sooth the skin with rosewood, brighten the skin with lemon and nourish the skin with sandalwood. It says its suitable for all skin types but this is also highly perfumed so Im not sure if it would be ok for sensitive skin but Im looking forward to trying it.

Whish - Shave Crave Shaving Cream in Acai Grapefruit (£14.80): This is a non-foaming shaving cream so it should be good for the skin because a lot of products the foam can dry out the skin, this is because of the ingredients company's use to make products foam so if you have dry skin its normally better to pick non-foaming products. Since this is non-foaming it is meant to help you get a close shave without stripping your skin of moisture so this should be nice to try.

Have you tried any of the products that I was sent in my Birchbox this month? If you have please comment below to let me know what you thought of the products that your have tried.

Also if you have any questions about this box then just leave it in the comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for joining me today, hope you enjoyed it.

Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

I loved the original Micellar Cleansing Water from Garnier, there was a few things I did not like about it but there was also things I did like about it. I like the fact it made taking make-up off so much easier, all you need to do is put some of the micellar cleansing water on to a cotton pad and wipe away your make-up now I know its always better to do a proper cleanse but some times its just to much work and I want my bed and I know we have all been there girls and guys. What I did not like about it was is hurt my eyes so I had to be really careful not to get any in my eyes when taking my eye make-up off which as you can guess is a bit hard and I also found it to be a little bit drying but for me the good weighed out the bad.

Then Garnier released a new cleansing water but this time it has oils in it and its for dry and sensitive skin so I knew I had to get it to try. This new cleaning water has a scent to it which is rather nice, its sweet and light without being sickly sweet. Like the original cleaning water you just put some on to a cotton pad and wipe away your make-up but remember to give it a shake first to mix the oils and cleaning water together. It removes mascara really well with out hurting my eyes, I just put the cotton pad on to my closed eye for a few seconds and then wipe away the mascara, I love using this new micellar cleaning water to take my mascara off, I have even started using this to take my mascara off before I do a proper cleanse.

This also leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft, Im guessing it must have something to do with the fact that there is oil in it. I never feel like its drying out my skin like the original cleaning water did and I have been using the new one this winter and I still have nice soft skin. On the bottle it says there is no need for rinsing and its non greasy and I would agree with that, even though there is oil in this I dont feel like it leaves an oily or greasy residue.

I think this new micellar cleaning water from Garnier is really nice and Im enjoying using it, if you ever tried the original and for some reason did not like it then you should try this one or if you have dry skin and have been thinking about getting the original to try then save your money and just skip it and try this new one instead. Thats not me trying the say this new oil infused one is better than the original though I just think it would be better for dry skin. I still think the original micellar water is also good in its one way like if you have normal to oily skin then I think you would like the original better.

Have you tried the new Micellar Oil-Infused Cleaning Water or have you tried the original Micellar Cleaning Water? Let me know in the comments.

If you have any questions then please feel free to ask them in the comments.

Thanks for checking out this review.

Birchbox UK December 2016

The theme for the December Birchbox is Merry & Bright but it does not feel very Christmassy however thats ok because its a nice looking box. With this box we are back to having a bag but the box is different again and I cant be sure but I think the box might have got small again.

In my box I was sent 5 products with 4 being sample sizes and 1 being a full size.

When I first opened this box the first thing I noticed was the smell, it was so strong and not very nice but nothing was leaking.

So even though the box is smaller again and smells really bad did I like what I get? Well keep  on reading cause Im about to tell you.

Ciate London - Fierce Flicks Eyeliner (£15): This is the product that I got that is full size and its a black felt tip eyeliner. Im really happy to have received this in my box this month and Im looking forward to trying it.

Bobbi Brown - Smokey Eye Mascara (£23): I dont think I have ever tried anything from Bobbi Brown before I have heard of Bobbi Brown just for some reason I have never tried it so Im looking forward to trying this mascara. It has a nice bristle brush and I think its going to be a really nice mascara.

Benefit - Porefessional (£24.50): Im not happy about getting this, Im sick of getting this from beauty boxing. We all know what porefessional is and what is does. I have dry skin Birchbox you know I have dry I said I have dry skin on my beauty profile you make us do when we sign up and yet I keep getting this which would be brill if I had oily skin and a problem with lager pores but I dont. I did not mind trying this when it first came out but can we just all move on now.

Percy & Reed - Perfectly Perfecting Wounder Balm (£18): This is moisturising balm for the hair thats meant to boost shine, smooths, softens and protects the hair. I have dry long curly hair so this will be really nice to try.

Anatomicals - Smoother Butts Love Coconuts Body Lotion (£3.99): The packaging for this is bright and fun and the name is just as fun. The scent is strong so might not be good for sensitive skin but I think I will still give this a go to see what its like. This body lotion also has vitamin e in it which is really good for the skin.

I think this is a good box this month from Birchbox and apart from getting the porefessional Im looking forward to trying everything that I received in this box.

What did you think of this months Birchbox? Did you love it or hate it? Leave a comment below to let me know.

Glossybox UK December 2016

So its December already and Christmas is almost here. I hope you all have a fab Christmas and brilliant New Year.

This months Glossybox looks all festive with its white and gold design, I think this box looks really nice. It came with 5 products which are all full size.

So lets jump right in and see what I got.

MDMFlow - Semi-matte Lipstick in Vamp (£18): Glossybox let us pick the colour of lipstick we wanted this month, we could pick from a nude or a berry colour and I picked the berry colour. I have never heard of this brand before but this lipstick is a very me colour and I also really like matte lipstick so Im really looking forward to trying this out.

Essence - Light up your face Luminizer Palette (£3): I really do like a good highlighter so this little palette will be nice to try. This palette has a matte highlight, a pink highlight with glitter and a gold highlight with very fine bits of glitter.

Collection Cosmetics - Define & Perfect Eyebrow Powder (£4.19): I have tried this eyebrow powder before and I think its fab, its so easy to use and looks so natural. Glossybox sent me shade brunette 2 but I normally go for the lighter shade, its ok though Im going to try and make it work.

Lipcote (£3.99): I have also tried this before and Im not going to lie I hate it. It makes your lipstick feel horrible to ware and the smell is not good too. It was a couple of years since I tried it so I might give it another go, you never know I might end up loving it which is unlikely but I guess it should get a second chance.

Revlon - Nail Enamel in Valentine (£6.49):  The last product I was sent in this months Glossybox was this nail polish and I love the colour, I will definitely be using this.

Im not sure how I feel about this box over all, I like what I was sent in it but for some reason its not made me go wow. Maybe since I know Glossybox can do really good boxes I was expecting a bit more of a wow factor since this is the December box. I dont hate it I just think this box could have been better.

Did you get this months Glossybox or have you tried any of the products that I was sent? Let me know in the comment below.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄 🎉

Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Day Cream

I have already tried and reviewed the Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Night Cream which I really like and you can read the review here if you want to see my full thoughts about it. So because I really like the night cream when I saw the day cream in the shops I know I had to get it.

The packaging follows the same style as the night cream with the tube coming in a shimmery box and the tube being a lovely light blue colour. Now normal Garnier face creams come in a tub but this cream comes in a tube which looks nice but it makes it hard to tell how much is left if your thinking about getting a new one but over all I do like the packaging.

The other thing I really like about this cream is the scent, its sweet and well Im not that good at describing a smell but its really nice and thats where my love ends.

I really like Garnier skin care products and I really like the night cream of this so I had really high hopes for the day cream, I really did think I was going to like it but sadly not.

First of all every time I use this my eyes water so badly I look like Im crying and it made them hurt too, at first I thought maybe its cause Im trying it in the summer time and because I get hay fever its making my eyes more sensitive so since the weather has got colder and we are now it to the winter I thought I would try it again but the same thing happened.

The second thing that I dont like about this cream is that its really heavy. I have dry skin and when my skin is really sad looking I sometimes use a night cream as a day cream and I never find them to heavy yet they make my skin look to much more happy and healthy but this day cream its so heavy and again I thought maybe its because its the summer but even in the winter it feels like this.

I just dont enjoy using this cream and I also think the night cream is highly moisturising and yet it does not make my eyes water and it does not feel heavy and I think it makes a better day cream than this day cream.

Im sorry Garnier for saying how bad this cream is if you read this review but Im not going to lie.

If you have any questions about this day cream or even the night cream please feel free to leave them in the comments below.

Thanks for checking out the review.

Glossybox UK November 2016

This months Glossybox came in the normal pink box with lots of lovely things well 6 lovely things with 4 of them are full size and 2 of them are sample size. The idea behind this months Glossybox which is the same as this months Birchbox is the party season, I can see way they have both picked this as their box idea this month since its November and the fact they have both got the same idea this month is fine because they are both very different boxes.

Ruby Professional - Large Tapered Blending Brush: This brush retails for €8 and its really soft. Im really happy about getting this brush, I think I will get a lot of use out of it. The bristles are cruelty-free which is also an added plus.

111Skin - Bio Cellulose Facial Treatment Mask: This is full size which is 1 face mask so thats 1 use and the price for this is £20. Im so happy to get this and I cant wait to try it, I would not pay £20 for just 1 face mask but if its good you never know I might change my mind. This mask has 3 key ingredients, Arbutin which is meant to brighten the skin then next is called Silk Amino Acids and this is meant to condition the skin and the last of the 3 key ingredients is called Centella Asiatica which is meant to stimulate collagen production.

Wilkinson Sward - Quattro for Women Raspberry Rain Disposable Razors: This is a 3 pack of razors which costs £5.69, they have 4 blades and a raspberry scented handle, I have not opened them yet so I cant comment about what I think of the raspberry scented handle on a razor apart from who thought about making a raspberry scented handle for a razor I cant be the only one thinking thats an odd idea. Never the less putting the raspberry scented handle to the side I am happy to get this, it will be nice to try.

This Works - Deep Sleep Pillow Spray: I already use this pillow spray and have the full size which retails at £16 but I was sent a sample size in my Glossybox, I not disappointed by this because I can use it if I going away anywhere over night. This pillow spray is so good, anytime Im finding it hard to get to sleep I use this and it smells really nice too. You just spray some on to your pillow and then fall in to a relaxing deep sleep.

De Bruyere Beaute - Jumbo Eye Pencil in Bubble 07: The second last item I was sent this month from Glossybox was a full size jumbo eye pencil, this eye pencil costs €15 and is a khaki-gray colour with glitter in it. The pencil has a really nice sweet scent to it and I think it will look really nice on.

Raffaello: The last item I received was a yummy little treat, this is suitable for vegetarians but it contains nuts and milk. I have never seen this before so I have no idea what its going to taste like but its a nice little extra.

I think this months Glossybox is fab and Im really happy with everything that I was sent and Im looking forward to trying everything.

What did you think of this months box? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for joining me for this review of the November Glossybox.

Birchbox UK November 2016

Birchbox has teamed up with Tatler magazine to bring you this months box which is all about the party season and Birchbox has stayed with the drawer idea which I really like and I hope they keep on doing this, the design on the box this month is a peacock print which I also really like. In this box I received 5 sample size products and no full size products, I also received the wee book that always comes with the box with all the product information and there was also a second book in this months box with information about what you can buy from Birchbox for Christmas.

When I first picked the box up when it was delivered I thought it felt very light like there was not much in it but I thought just cause its light dues not mean it will be bad there might be some really fab things in the box.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics - Lip Tar Primer: This is a lipstick primer and the full size costs £15 its 100% vegan and cruelty free. This primer is meant to help your lipstick last longer and this has Vitamin E, hemp oil and peppermint oil in it. Although this is a small sample size since its for your lips I dont think its a bad size. I might use this now and then but I cant see myself using it everyday, it will be nice to give it a try but I dont think it would buy the full size.

Bbrowbar - Brow Pencil in Cinnamon Spice: The full size for this brow pencil is £13. It seems very dry like it will be hard to use but the colour is a really good match for me so I will definitely be giving it a try.

Nuxe - Creme Prodigieuse: This is an anti-fatigue moisturising cream which is meant to boost your skins antioxidant level and restore the skins hydration, the full size retails for £21 and Im really looking forward to trying this. It also smells so good.

Beauty Protector - Protect & Blonde Toning Shampoo: Beauty Protector is a Birchbox exclusive brand and this shampoo will cost £18 from the Birchbox shop. Beauty Protector products all have the same smell which is really lovely. Im happy I got sent this since its handy to have.

Marcelle - BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator: I wont be using this and I dont like it. Im pale and this is to dark for me. It has glitter in it and I do think it will give you a nice glow, this is oil free, perfume free and hypoallergenic. If you did fancy buying this as a full size it will cost £25.50.

This months box was ok but it could have been better, Im really looking forward to trying the Nuxe face cream because I love a good face cream and Im happy Birchbox sent me the right colour of eye brow pencil for one since they like to send me ones that are to dark but Im not happy about being sent another BB cream.

Did you get this months Birchbox? Let me know in the comments below about what you thought of it.

Lancome Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Beauty Essence

Hey guys! As you have guessed by the name of this post Im reviewing Lancome Hydra Zen Anti-Stress Beauty Essence. Now to let you know I not a big fan when it comes to using a serum before my face cream because even though I have dry skin I hate the feeling of skincare products feeling heavy on my skin so Im looking for something that is light and moisturising and when I use a serum it sometimes feels heavy or sometimes I just dont think its doing anything to my skin and my cream works fine with out it. However when I was in Boots the lady at the Lancome counter talked me in to getting this Beauty Essence which just reminds me of a serum except this serum works.

Im not going to lie when I got home after my little shopping trip I did think why the hell did I buy this, I dont like serums and I have probably just wasted my money. So you can tell I really did not have high hopes for this but since I now have it I thought I really should use it and I must now eat my own words. I guess its true you should never judge a book by its cover.

This serum is like a gel which then melts down in to water when you go to use it. It then sinks in to the skin with out leaving your skin feeling greasy or heavy yet the skin feels moisturised, smooth, soft, plump and looks beautifully healthy. This is suitable for sensitive skin and is for normal to combination skin but since I have dry skin and it works for me then I would say its fine for all skin types.

I think if you have oily skin this would be nice on its own with no other cream since its not greasy yet moisturising and for everyone else I think this makes a really good moisturising serum before your cream.

Have you tried this product? What do you think of it? Let me know in the comments. Or have you tried anything else from this Hydra Zen line?

Thanks for checking out my review.

Birchbox UK October 2016

Hey guys and thanks for joining me today for this months Birchbox. This month Birchbox has gone with the drawer idea again with there box which I really like. The theme this month is Whats your sign? and because Im an Aries I was sent the Fire box. In the info card you get in the box it says the stars on the box glow in the dark which I think is a really fun idea.

Now lets get in to what I got.

Lord &Berry - 20100 Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick in Intimacy: This lipstick is full size and retails at £12. The colour is a really nice nude/red, Im so happy to get this colour because normal I get sent colours which just look so bad on me. This is a product that you will need to sharpen but I will be trying it out.

Oribe - Dry Texturizing Spray: This spray is a dry shampoo and texturizing spray. Its a sample size that I was sent in my box but the full size costs £19. I think for a sample size its a nice size and you can even pop it in you handbag if you wanted to.

Doux Me - Pure Spring Mist: Im happy to get this product because I was sent a face scrub by this brand in one of my other Birchboxs, its a Birchbox exclusive and the RRP is £16. The size I was sent is a sample size but I think its a really good size. This mist spray is meant to help you feel refreshed when your feeling frazzled.

NKD SKN - Daily Tan Moisturiser: I dont like this. Im just not one for using fake tan so I really cant see myself using this, Im sure its a really nice product but its just not for me. I was sent a sample size but if you wanted to buy the full size it would cost £10.

Number 4 - Fluoro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil: Really happy with this product I use hair oils all the time so I will looking forward to trying this one out. I did just get sent a sample size but you only need a wee bit when you use hair oils so I think I will get a few uses out of it. This also has a beautiful sweet smell and costs £18 for the full size.

Birchbox - Eyebrow Brush: The last thing I was sent this month from Birchbox was a eyebrow brush. Now this is full size but Im guessing you worked that out since Im not sure how you would make it a sample size. This brush is a Birchbox exclusive and costs £1.99. Im not wowed by it, its an eyebrow brush and I already have one.

This months box was ok with 4 hits and 2 misses.

Did you get this months Birchbox? If so what did you think of it? please leave a comment to let me know.

Glossybox UK October 2016

Hey guys. So I know I normal try and do a video of what I got from Birchbox and Glossybox but I thought I would do a blog post about it instead. Im going to do one post for Glossybox and another one for Birchbox but if you would rather them both all in one post them just comment below to let me know.

Now lets get in to what I got from Glossybox this month. In this box I was sent there is 6 products with 4 of them being full size and a mystery shampoo.

New Beauty Shampoo: The size of this shampoo is a really nice size for trying it out but we have no idea what shampoo it is, there is going to be a brand reveal later this month so we can all found out was it is. Im a bit 50/50 about this because I really like the idea of keeping the brand a secret so we can judge if we like it or not but I also dont like it because I have dry curly hair and is this shampoo for dry or greasy hair? Fine or thick hair? I think I will wait for the reveal before I make my mind up about this.

Trifle Cosmetics - Lip Parfait - Buttery Lip Cream: First off the packaging for this lip stick of so cute, I really like the look of it. Its got different fruit on the packaging which is cardboard. This lip stick is one of the full size products that was in the box and the RRP is £12.95. It looks like it will be a really nice long wear lip stick but I hate the colour, Im not going to lie about it but if I used this colour I would ill or died which is a shame cause I really do like the look of this lip stick I just really dont like the colour.

The Body Shop - Drops of Youth Concentrate: Im really looking forward to trying this, its a small size sample but you only need a couple of drops so I think its a good size for a sample. I also really like the smell of the product which is organic and its meant to soften, smooth and brighten your skin. The full size price for this £25.

Universal Beauty Cosmetics - Secret Flush: This is a soothing cream blusher and lip stain duo. This is full size and retails for £15, I really like the packaging and the smell is so good like candy bracelets. The colour is not something I would normal go and buy but I really like it, its pinky/peachy and I feel like there is some glitter in it or shimmer.

Bee Good - Honey & Camelina Facial Exfoliator: Im so happy for getting this product because I got sent in my May Glossybox Bee Good Youth Enhancing Plump & Firm Moisturiser and I really enjoyed trying it. This is full size and costs £10.50 and if its as good as the moisturiser then its a good price. The packaging is cute and fun and the smell is beautiful. This is meant to exfoliate, hydrate and calm the skin and I cant wait to try it.

PS...PRO - Finishing Powder: This powder is by Primark and is full size and retails at £5. The packaging its really nice and the powder feels very soft. Its meant to be lightweight and I think it will be lightweight when I try it. Its also meant to be ultra-fine and I would agree with that.

So over all not a bad box just a shame about the lip stick colour and I think I will wait to try the shampoo till the brand is revealed.

Did you get this months Glossybox? Let me know what you think of it in the comments and let me know if you have tried any of the products that I got.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask

The face masks that I normal buy are cheap and cheerful, Im happy to spend a wee bit extra on day or night cream but I normal just buy face masks that are £1 or £2 so when I saw Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask in the shops for £19.99 I was a little bit worried that they might not work. I really liked the look of them though because I like sheet face masks since they are so easy to use and these face masks are for dry skin which is what I have so I just thought I would treat myself to them.

In this pack you get 4 sheet face masks that contain hyaluronic acid which is fantastic for dry skin and can help fight the look of ageing.

The recommend way to use these masks is to cleanse and dry your face the place the face masks on for 15 minutes then remove it and any left over serum from the mask you can gently massage it in to your skin.

I normally use face masks at night before bed so thats what I did with this one. I cleansed my face and dried my skin then hopped in to bed and popped the mask on then removed it after about 15 minutes and massage the serum in to my skin like it says.

So the next morning I was not expecting anything to amazing, I thought my skin would be nice and soft but for some reason I was not expecting much change. Well how wrong was I, when I got up then next morning my skin looked amazing, it looked so healthy and hydrated,  dewy and plump.

Ye its cheaper to buy a sheet face mask for £1 and there is so meany really good once out there but if you have really dry skin and need something with a bit more of a kick then I think you will really enjoy trying this mask.

I still buy the cheaper masks that you can get because its nice to try new once but these masks are the ones I go for when my skin need real help.

Have you tried this face mask? Let me know what you think of it in the comments.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

Hey guys hope your all doing well. Today I bring you a review of Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm by Clinique, this cleansing balm is a solid balm and its meant to melt in to a fluid when you apply it.

The way I used this cleanser was taking a small amount out and letting it melt in my hands by rubbing them together, I found the balm would melt nicely in to an oil. Once the balm was fully melted which only takes a few seconds I would then start to massage it on to my face.
This cleansing balm removed my make-up really easily and my normally hard to remove mascara was no match for this cleanser, the mascara was fully removed with not problems at all.

Now a lot of cleansers can make my eyes hurt really badly but when this go in to my eyes there was no problems at all with it. Dont get me wrong it did feel a bit odd getting oil in to my eyes and my vision did go a bit funny cause I could not see through the oil but thats only for a few seconds but over all it did not hurt and for me thats a big plus.

Once you have applied this to your skin and removed all your make-up with it then all you have to do is wash it off with some warm water and then pat your skin dry. Patting your skin dry is really important especially if you have sensitive skin because if your rub your skin dry with a towel it can cause irritation and your skin can lose its elasticity after years of rubbing even if you dont have sensitive skin.

Once you have gently washed this cleanser off and patted your skin dry, your skin should feel so soft and hydrated but not oily and greasy. I did not feel like this cleansing balm striped my skin for any moisture like some cleansers do.

Clinique says with is suitable for all skin types and I totally agree.

Have you tried this cleansing balm from Clinique? What do you think of it? Or are you thinking about getting it? Please leave your thought in the comments below.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius

Hey everyone hope your all well. Today I'm going to be reviewing Heel Genius by Soap & Glory for you guys. On the front of this foot cream is says Better than a pedicure?! Well since I have never had a pedicure because I dont like feet or people touching my feet (I know Im weird but its just a thing that I dont like) then I cant say if its better than a pedicure. The cream also says its an Amazing foot cream marvel which I think is high claims.

On the back of this cream it says Feet should be friendly, soft, smooth, even lovely to look at. Massage a generous layer of Heel Genius on to clean feet every night (or at least as often as you remember) slip cotton socks on and let it soak in while you sleep.

I have to tell you the truth I did not put socks on when I used this because I dont like wearing socks in bed so the way I used it was by massaging some of the cream in to my feet before bed. The cream melts in to the feet leaving them feelinf soft but not greasy or sticky so if your like me and dont like the feeling of something on your feet when your in bed then you might like this.

Every time I used this foot cream I always noticed a difference in how soft my feet felt the next morning, they are always less dry and the yucky hard bits on the bottom of my feet feel so much softer and less hard.

The cream is a mint green colour in some lights and light blue in other lights with a minty smell. Its also thick but a little will go a long way.

Have you tried this amazing foot cream marvel? What do you think of it?
Or do you fancy getting it to try? Let my know in the comments below.

Goodbye Winter. Hello Summer. Skin Care Tips For Spring and Summer

Spring is in the air every where you look around..... Sorry think I might have got the words wrong there I think its meant to be love is in the air but anyway its true spring is in the air and the sun is starting to show its face more and warm days are coming which is what we have all been waiting for. However when the weather changes so should our skin care routine so here is some tips that will hopefully help you out in the warmer days to come.

1. SPF - Picking the right day cream is always important but when we are moving in to more sunny weather its even more important. When your picking your day cream make sure its got a UVA and UVB protection, its always important even in the winter for your day cream to have a UVA and UVB protection because the sun is still shining in the winter. Now if your wondering why do you need UVA and UVB protection well I will tell you. There is 3 types for rays altogether UVA, UVB and UVC. UVA is bad for the skin because it can cause skin ageing and wrinkles. UVB is the ray that cause sunburn which can permanently damage the skin over time but this ray can also cause skin cancers. UVC never gets to earth because its stopped by the ozone layer and this is really good since its the strongest ray of all of them but for now I dont think we really need to worry about it. So if your day cream has got a high SPF then the better its going to protect your skin from the sun.

2. Exfoliate - To making sure your moisturiser gets the chance to really help your skin its a good idea to exfoliate because there is no point getting a new fab face cream if your just going to put it on to a layer of dead skin. Exfoliating is so good for the skin, whenever I exfoliate my face I always feel like it looks brighter and your new SPF day cream can get right in to your skin to keep it looking moisturised and protect it from the sun. When your picking an exfoliator make sure its not to harsh because this can damage the skin and it can cause micro-tears and irritation so try and get a gentle exfoliator with ingredients like brown sugar. Its a good idea to exfoliate 1 or 2 times a week however everyone's skin is different so if you feel like you need to exfoliate more than that then go head but no more than 3 times in a week because you can end up damaging you skin and removing the protective barrier that your skin has.

3.  Cleanse - Since its not good to exfoliate your skin ever day then its a good idea to cleanse your skin instead. A good cleansing routine can help make your skin look brighter and healthier. Cleansing at night is also so important to get all that SPF day cream off your skin because even though its your skins best friend during the day its not something your skin wants to be wearing when you sleep because it can clog you pores and cause spots and thats not something any of us want. Just spend 1 or 2 minutes massaging your cleanser in to your skin in upwards motions and then rinse away with warm water but make sure its not hot water which it bad for the skin.

If you can think of any skin care tips for spring and summer then please feel free to leave them in the comments below.

Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Night Cream

Now you might have guessed Im a bit of a fan when is comes to Garnier, their products for dry skin are so good on my skin and normally do as they say on the box so when I saw this new night cream from them I knew I had to have it.

First off I love the name, Moisture Bomb. You can tell this is not for oily skin plus the wee bit at the bottom saying its for dehydrated skin might also give that way but its still a good name.

The box it comes in is really nice, shiny silver going in to a shiny light blue. The tub the cream is in is a light blue tub with a white lid, its the same sort of tub most of Garnier face creams come in and the same 50ml size. It may come in the same sort of tub as other face creams from Garnier but I do like it, its simple but nice.

When you put the cream on it melts and feels almost like water, which dues feel a bit weird but then it turns to more of a greasy feeling cream. This is not to bad point though but it is a bit odd.

On the box it says its a super recharging antioxidant gel cream, its more than a moisturiser. Moisture Bomb recharges up to 10 layer of skin with hydration and replumps the look of fine lines.

I really cant say if it hydrated up to 10 layers for my skin but I really did see a difference in my skin, it looked healthier and more plump. My skin did look more hydrated too but really cant say if it was up to 10 layers, its a bit hard to count the layers of skin on my face.

This review would not be complete with out me telling you about the beautiful smell this cream has, its fresh and light not like an over powering perfume smell. I have never been very good at telling people how something smells but this cream dues smell really good.

I think Garnier has done a fab job with this cream, it dues what it says on the box with no lies. It dues not disappoint. This cream is dermatologically tested so its suitable for sensitive skin too.

Have you tried this cream yet? What do you think of it? Leave a comment below to let me know.
