Garnier has brought out a new line of skin care products for dry skin, this line is called Honey Flower and there is 4 products in this range and Im going to be review all 4 products for you today. This new skin care line from Garnier is made from 96% natural ingredients and on the back on the bottles it says what all the ingredients are so its not just all random words and you really know whats in the product.
Now to be completely clear and honest with you guys and girls Garnier sent this to me but this is not a sponsored review and my thoughts are my own and what Im going to tell you about these 4 products is really what I thought about them.
Nourishing Botanical Cleansing Milk: Garnier says to soak a cotton pad with this cleansing milk then use the soaked cotton pad to remove your make up but I found this is not the best to remove mascara, it will take all the mascara off but it takes a bit longer than a cleansing water would and I felt like I had to rub my eyes with the soaked cotton pad to get the mascara off. The way I have started using this cleansing milk is taking my make up off with a cleansing water and then using this cleansing milk by massaging it on to the skin then removing it with a wet muslin cloth. I have not found this cleansing milk to be hydrating but I have not found it to be drying my very dry skin out too.
Nourishing Botanical Toner: My hopes for liking this were not very high because I have never found a toner that I really like, I find them all to be to drying for my skin and I was almost thinking about not even trying this but I thought I am trying the other 3 products from the new range so I will give it a go and I was really surprised because I like this, I have found a toner I like at long last. This is a really nice toner for dry and very dry skin, I have not felt like its been drying out my skin when I use it and Im so happy I did try it.
Nourishing Botanical Gel Wash: Well this gel wash is a liar. Why? You might be asking. Well my beautiful readers because on the bottle of this gel wash it says its for dry to very dry skin. I used this as it says to use it on the back of the bottle and this was horrible to use. Firstly as Im using it some got in my eye which was not good because it hurt so bad like really really bad, even if I did like this gel wash the pain I had from getting it in my eye would make me not want to use this ever again. Secondly after I had washed this off my face and stopped my poor eye from hurting so much and before I had a chance to put cream on my skin had became really dry and flaky and tight. But if you have oily skin and you dont mind your eyes hurting then you might like this or if you have oily skin and try this you could just try and be more careful than me and avoid you eye area.
Nourishing Botanical Day Cream: Leaving the best till last, this day cream is the star of this new range, if your going to only try one thing for this range this has to be it. I dont think there is one thing about this cream I dont like, its my new favourite day cream. I normal find day creams to be a bit rubbish and I use night creams in the day a lot of the time because I find day creams to be heavy and greasy and they sit on top of the skin or they are to little and soak right in to the skin and they feel like they are doing nothing. This day cream does not feel to heavy or to little and I feel like you dont need to use to much as well. It soaks in to the skin when you put this on but you can still feel like you put cream on, its leaves my skin looking plump and hydrated all day and I feel like my skin is looking better and better every day I use this. I have not found it to hurt my eyes or make them runny so even my eyes like it. I also like the fact that its in a tube so if I feel like my skin is really dry one day I can pop it in to my hand bag.
In this new range there is a few hits and few misses and you can probably guess what they both are but the is also one very big star. Im so pleased I got to try out the new range from Garnier because I have now found my favourite new day cream.
