MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil

I dont know about you but it feels like every make-up company is bring out a new jumbo lip pencil, thats not a bad thing because some of them are really good and I use them all the time but we now have a newbie to the group of jumbo lip pencils, MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil.

This jumbo lip pencil is a twist up like any other jumbo lip pencil. On MAC's website they say that you will get the colour and shine of a gloss and the precision of a lip pencil. I agree with them about the colour and shine of a gloss but Im not so sure about the precision of a lip pencil claim because the tip is rounded not pointed and thats fine for the light shades but if you have a darker shade it might be a bit harder to apply it to your lips and keeping it tidy.

This jumbo lip pencil is comfortable to wear, its thick but not sticky and its moisturising too. I really do feel like after wearing this my lips feel more hydrated. I have also not had any problems with this feathering and thats always good if you are wearing a darker colour.

The colour that I bought it coloured Kittenish, Im not a big fan of lighter lip colours or even nude lip colours I just dont think they look good on me but this colour is so nice. To me its an everyday colour and its so easy to wear, the colour is pink with just a wee hint of berry.

If your thinking about treating yourself to a new MAC lipstick then I think you should check these out first. They cost £17.50 so they do cost a wee bit more then the lipsticks but I think they are really worth checking out.

Have you tried MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencil? What do you think of them? If not are you planning on buying one? Please comment below to let me know.

Make-up Rumours Lipstick

            shade 13                    shade 17                  shade 11

Hey guys, so sorry about not doing a review in the last week but I have just be really busy at work and have had no time to write a new review but I have a Make-up Rumours Lipstick review here for you all. Now if you have not read any of my other reviews for Make-up Rumours then I will let you know how I found them, they were giving beauty bloggers a chance to get £10 worth of make-up to try but don't worry that's not going to make me say I love something even if I don't, so they let us pick the make-up we wanted so I got some eye shadows which I love, the colour pay out is really good and they last me a shift at work, I also got some eye liner, a gift set which I did a review for and I will link below and three lipsticks in shade 13, shade 17 and shade 11. I have been wearing them a lot lately to see how they feel and I do like them, the colour pay out is really good I was a little surprised since they only cost £1 I really did not expected the colour pay out to be so high. They are not a long lasting lipstick but they don't come off 2 seconds after putting them on which always annoys me, shade 13 and shade 11 feel matte and a wee bit drying but I really like shade 11 so that's not bothering me to much and shade 17 seems to be more creamy but has a really odd smell. I do like these lipsticks they are not my favourite but I can see myself picking shade 11 from time to time its a really nice day time red. So if your needing a new lipstick but you have spent all your money before pay day then why not give these a go. If you are want to get anything from Make-up Rumours then here is a 10% off code but its only available till the end of the week x rbb10off x

Make-Up Rumours Ultimate Metallics – Show your metal

Hey guys hope your all well. I'm going to be reviewing Ultimate Metallics – Show your metal set from Make-Up Rumours today, I first heard about this company from twitter and they were giving beauty bloggers a chance to get £10 worth of make-up and I could not say no to free make-up but that dues not mean I going to lie and say I love all their make-up if I don't like it, free or not I will tell you the true about want I thought of their make-up. Now lets get on this talking about the set you can get it from their website for £3.99 and you get 2 Nail Polishes, 1 Glitter Eye Liner, Eye Shadow Palette and 2 Lip Glosses in it.

The Eye Shadow Palette

In this palette you get 8 shimmery eye shadows that has no glitter in them and 2 matte eye shadows. The shadows have a high colour pay out and I feel like you have got your moneys worth from this set with just the shadows, they last me all the way throw an 8 hour shift at work and then after that. The colours do look dark but I do think you can get some good day time looks out of them, I also think its good that you get 2 matte shadows so you don't have to go with a full shimmery look you don't want to.

The Lip Glosses

You get 2 lip glosses in this set that are both shimmery, they are not long wearing but they feel really nice on the lips and they are not sticky. I really like the plummy colour it is really nice and the colour pay out is really good however the light pink colour I feel like there is more shimmer then colour in this gloss which is a shame because its a really nice colour, it almost feels like a clear lip glosses that's really shimmery and I just feel like that dues not work.

The Glitter Eye Liner

The Glitter Eye Liner is a clear gel with bits of black glitter in it and at first when I saw it I was a bit put off but now I have tried it I would not say I love it but I also don't hate it, its fun to play around with it, trying new looks and seeing how its works best for you and I can see myself using this again. One way you could using it is by using a coloured liner first then using this on top.

The  Nail Polishes

Sadly I have not used these yet but that's only because I don't wear nail polishes a lot but if I very do wear them then I will review them

Overall

I really like the set and I would recommend it, I think you get some good make-up for only £3.99 and I think the eye shadows are the best overall.

If you fancy getting this set or anything else by Make-Up Rumours then here is a discount code that you can use with their discount code they have on the website, rbb10off

Duty Free Haul

Hey everyone. Hope your all well and sorry for not posting anything in the past few day but I was away and as you can tell by the title I got some duty free make-up.

So the first thing I got was L'OCCITANE Soft Hand Trio which cost me £16.00 and they are all 30ml. I have never heard for the brand before but its made is France and I have heard the French skincare products are normally very good. The trio is a travel exclusive but I think you can buy all the products in it individually. The first cream in it is Almond Delicious Hands then Shea Butter Hand Cream Dry Skin and the last cream I got with it was Verveine Cooling Hand Cream Gel.
The next product that I got from duty free free was another product for L'OCCITANE, this is Shea Butter Moisturizing Lip Balm and I got it for £7.23 for 15ml. Now that is more than I would normally pay for a lip balm but I thought why. I have already used it a few times and it has no smell, taste or colour.

Now I have never tried a MAC lip stick but sins everyone seems to love them and I was in duty free I thought I will get them to find out why they are so loved. So I first got Bombshell and that's in the frost range and that cost £12.90. Now I have know idea why I got this colour because I don't normally go for pinks but for some reason I just love it, I think its because it has a shimmer to it and I do like shimmery make-up.

The last product that I got was a MAC Lustre Lip Stick in Plamful for £12.90 and its a really nice every day plum colour thats not to dark.

I will be doing a review on all these products as soon as I have tried them all x

Revlon ColorStay Lipstick

Hey everyone so I'm going to be reviewing Revlon ColorStay Lipstick, its a moisturising, longware lipstick with shea butter and aloe. When you first apply it it goes on just like any other lipstick, soft and creamy with really good colour pay out but after less that half an hour it starts to feel more like a matte lipstick and that's not a bad thing if you like matte lipsticks. The first day I tried it I did not like it but I think that's just because I was not expecting it to turn matte but once I used it a few more times I really began to fall in love with it and I think it might be one of my favourite lipsticks. It lasts all the way throw an 8 hour shift at work with eating and drinking on my break and I don't feel the need to apply more. I do also think this lipstick is moisturising, after wearing it for over 8 hours and it turning matte you would think I would have had some sad dried up lips but nope, my lips still felt really good and hydrating. I would highly recommend this lipstick and I can see myself buying more x

The colour that I got was in 070 Preview
